Just don’t forget to use a stand that’s probably too heavy-duty. Still, even if you put something as heavy as a Profoto B1X and use enough weights on the stand, it holds just fine, even on a boom. It is also perhaps better to use it with a pack and head lighting system, as opposed to a monoblock. It would probably be a good idea to use a very study stand, such as a junior stand. The rod-locking mechanism has nice action, although as with all paras, the modifier can be extremely heavy on one side. Just make sure you don't forget the two metal rods you need to build the softbox. I really can’t say anything bad about the construction of the Para. I may or may not have thrown it a few times (I have). ![]() I will be honest, when I shoot, softboxes fly all over the studio. The rods feel sturdy, the fabric thick, and the overall construction is solid. So you’d expect the Godox to lag in quality? Well, as far as that goes, the modifier is really well made. In that way, I have been spoiled by the best in the market. You may have noticed that I prefer working with high-end equipment such as Profoto and Broncolor. Until recently, I didn’t even think about having a Para, not until Godox released their Parabolic Light Focusing system. At the same time, when I have the budget and ability to rent a Para, I always do. To actually use it, you will also have to invest in a proper flash system compatible with it. Broncolor will cost you north of several thousands of dollars. ![]() ![]() It's a shame you can’t get a true parabolic modifier for a good price. Having used the Broncolor ones, I fell in love with them. I am no stranger to truly parabolic modifiers. ![]() The only time the headphones work and don't disconnect is when Synapse is uninstalled. ![]() There's been threads left open with no solutions from Razer for years now. I've tried a lot of troubleshooting and to be honest Razer doesn't see a problem with their software. Now the new pair worked for a few months (like 2-3 months) and then they started disconnecting and reconnecting again. I treated my headphones with so much care and Razer Support labeled my problem as a hardware issue and sent me a new pair of Razer Kraken Kitty Editions. I uninstalled and reinstalled Razer Synapse many times (also uninstalled all my Razer devices) and nothing, still disconnected and reconnected. I've had my whole computer checked out and there was not an issue. I've been dealing with the same exact issues for over a year now. Unfortunately this HAS to be a Razer Synapse software issue. This is what I previously commented on another post with the same exact issues. And still it likes to disconnect even then. Which I let it update and then I click update, and I do that with every device up to the headset. When reinstalling I log into Razer and then go to the update section and I plug the mouse in first. Then inserted a non-razer keyboard and mouse and reinstall razer synapse after a restart. I also tried to go and uninstall Razer Synapse uninstall all drivers. I have also tried to reinstall Windows and Razer Synapse. It seems to *sometimes* work after that, but then there is still the issue of the Razer Kraken device disconnecting every so often, which I still think is the fault of my Motherboard but I am still not sure, as the updates that supposedly fix the issue on my motherboard don't seem to work. So I go and fiddle around with it by restarting Razer Synapse and disable the device while doing so. I noticed that the THX audio device at time just straight up doesn't work. ![]() But what I have done is I tried for quite a while my headset on my phone and it seems fine, no disconnecting or anything. Well double explaining wouldn't be a problem. Have you tried run without the software or run ur pc into safe mode ? ThakyZ I tried this, and it still doesn't work, I am glad I am not the only one who has been getting this because then it isn't an issue with my computer necessarily. I have tried to contact Razer support but every time I don't get much help, which is fine because I am sure they are understaffed because of the pandemic. This is rather annoying, and I almost want to think it's some issue with THX Service or Razer Synapse 3. Then I tried not using them for about a week, and upon giving them another chance, they started to not pop every second, but as per usual it started happening again, and I still cannot find any issues of what is going on with them. I have tried using my headphones extensively on my phone to get no issue at all. So maybe it's an issue with the headphone's themselves. I have also done some debugging, and it appears that the USB device just straight up disconnects from the computer and then automatically reconnects. Furthermore, I have tried getting a replacement, which has worked for some time, and then eventually it ended up happening again. I have a Razer Kitty Kraken and have been having this issue for quite some time. I tried this, and it still doesn't work, I am glad I am not the only one who has been getting this because then it isn't an issue with my computer necessarily. before you start to do this make sure you have spare mice and keyboard to use. and sorry for your 1st razer device to have this problem. cant remember tho which one the original post. Once your pc ready re install synapse 3 and then re connect 1 device at the time. dissconnect all your razer device and restart your PC. open your cleaner and clean from registry. click mice option and drop down you will see razer device from there.Īfter you uninstall your razer device ( mice, keyboard, headset, etc that you have. before you start to do this make sure you have spare mice and keyboard to use.ĭownload uninstaller cleaner - most of insider using ( ccleaner ) to clean all your registry leftovers after you uninstall program.Īnd uninstall all razer device manually - on device manager there is listed all your device that have been connected to your PC. I have no idea what it is at all! Please help :/ and the headset is making a popping sound. I updated my computer and my synapse right after connecting everything and it worked fine in the start but then it started disconnecting and reconnecting. So I recently just finished my dream razer setup with Blackwidow keyboard, basilisk mouse, kraken kitty headset and goliathus mouse pad. ![]() Myth #2: Gas-shielded flux-cored wires are not suitable for outdoor applications. This in turn reduces weld failures and rework, and lowers overall production costs. At current loads and wire diameters that cause a typical solid wire to become too fluid and run out of the joint, the slag system and arc cone of a gas-shielded flux-cored wire under the same conditions allows it to remain in the joint and achieve better tie-in to the side walls. The benefits of gas-shielded flux-cored wire over solid wire are further amplified in vertical up applications. A 1.4 mm wire can deposit 4.9kg of wire per hour, for a 71 percent increase in productivity or 8.1kg of wire more per day than with a 1.2 solid wire. Given that labour accounts for roughly 80 percent of a welding operation’s costs, the potential for increased profitability becomes very substantial.įurther, a 1.4 mm gas-shielded flux-cored E71T-1C H8 wire can often be used in applications where 1.2 solid wire is being used. If a welding operator averages four hours of arc time per day, that equals 4.8kg more wire deposited per day or a productivity improvement of over 41 percent with the flux cored wire. A comparable 1.2 diameter ER70S-6 solid wire can deposit up to 2.8kg/h of wire at the same amperage. This increases deposition rates and allows welding operators to use larger diameter wires than would be possible with solid wire.įor example, a 1.2 gas-shielded flux-cored wire in the AWS class E71T-1C H8 can deposit 4kg/h of wire in the flat position. The slag system of flux cored wires allows them to be welded at higher amperages than solid wire without the weld puddle becoming too fluid. Although gas-shielded flux cored wire costs more than solid wire, the productivity gains possible with it can significantly outweigh the marginal increase in cost. As it stands, however, filler metal is only a minor cost in the overall welding operation. Truth: If filler metal were the only expense in a welding operation, this statement would be true. Myth #1: Gas-shielded flux-cored wire is more expensive than solid wire. Below, we identify and “bust” four common myths about this often misunderstood filler metal. Armed with this information we hope you will be able to make informed choices when selecting welding wires and take notice the of the benefits when using flux cored wire on your next job. Unfortunately, the myths surrounding this type of wire often obscure the benefits and prevent companies from considering it as a viable option for their welding operations. Still, there are very good reasons for using gas-shielded flux cored wire. On the other, you have to contend with the portability and location limitations of using an external shielding gas. On the one hand, you have to deal with the headaches of chipping slag. The myths surrounding Flux Cored wire often obscure the substantial benefits it offers.Īt first glance, gas-shielded flux cored welding might seem like the most troublesome filler metal to use. |
